Families First Staff

Families First is fortunate to have a very competent professional and volunteer staff. We have made a concerted effort to improve the educational level of all direct service staff and to provide extended training in early childhood to both staff and volunteers who facilitate parenting groups.

Program Supervisor

Katrina Randleas serves as our Program Supervisor. She has a Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from the University of LaVerne, California. Katrina, who started with Families First in July of 2012, is a Certified Parent Educator with Parents as Teachers 0-3 years, a certified Healthy Start Family Support Worker and a certified Healthy Start Family Intake Assessment Worker.

Katrina has several years experience working with children in a preschool setting, serving as a therapist in Applied Behavior Analysis as well as an Autism Behavior Consultant.

Executive Director/Program Manager

 

Teresa Aasness, who has been with Families First since January of 2006, is a Certified Parent Educator with PAT 0-5 years, a Certified Parent Educator Supervisor with PAT, Certified Healthy Families Supervisor, Healthy Families Family Support Worker and Healthy Families Family Assessment Worker. Teresa is a credentialed Child Development Associate, Oregon Certified Childhood Education Trainer, Early Words Language and Literacy Trainer and Red Cross First Aid/CPR Instructor. Teresa is also qualified in Make Parenting A Pleasure and Parenting the First Three Years. She has a BS in Liberal Studies, with minors in Psychology and Health, from Eastern Oregon University.

Family Support Specialist (FSS)

Rhiannon Bauman was hired in June of 2017 as a Family Support Specialist. Her primary focus is Healthy Families but she also works with families enrolled in our other programs. She is a certified Healthy Start Family Support Worker and a certified Healthy Start Family Intake Assessment Worker. 

Rhiannon has a Bachelor's in Physical Activity and Health/Wellness with a concentration in Health/Wellness and a minor in communications. In addition to serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, she has been a Safe Communities Coalition, Healthy Happy Smiles, and Local Community Advisory Board/Committee member.

Family Support Specialist (FSS)

Megan Cameron was hired in March of 2019 as a Family Support Specialist. Her primary focus is working with families enrolled in a variety of  programs. She is certified to use Growing Great Kids Prenatal to 36 months Parenting and Child Development Curriculum and the Growing Great Families Curriculum. 

Megan has experience working with children and families in the early childhood setting, has completed formal education classes in Drug and Alcohol studies and has started coursework for an Elementary Education degree. She is currently working to complete required training from the Institute for the Advancement of Family Support professionals.
